EVERY season I tell EVERY team the same thing.

Who's the first defender: The Forward / Striker
Who's the first attacker: The Goalkeeper

Tim Howard. I salute you. You hit #10 in stride with a 40+ yard throw from the keeper. You set up the whole play.

Donnavan made a great pass up to Jozy and died a great job filling the middle but Howard set the whole damn thing up.

THAT my friend, is how you play keeper. The Brit's are watching with drool in their mouths and the Everton fans are going...those are OUR boys doing that damage.

Can I pick all 0-0 ties? I know I would win easy. I missed the World Cup games this morning so I though to myself, "how can I get my fix of a bunch of guys running around with no goals being scored?" So, I figured it out and went up to my local gym and watched some people run on a treadmill for a couple of hours. With the occassional hot girl on the treadmill it turned out to be 10 times more exiting. Thanks for the invite Scotty, but I think I will be watching my grass grow that week.

To defend myself, your wife got me into the Jersey Shore. We needed something ELSE to do while you are at work (sorry bro, I couldn't resist). Secondly, I was going to blast away at soccer but I will control myself. Just because you like a sport where a goalie has a great game when he makes 3 saves doesn't mean there is anything wrong with you....or does it?

By the way, I am in 16 on Friday night, are you with me up there?

I'm not a soccer fan by any stretch but i'm a sports fan and I'd say soccer has that post season baseball type drama going on.
