Rival to FOF

Should Jim be scared? I've just recently started taking a look at it, but it looks pretty cool. Anyone heard of this? Seems like the producer is very involved in it, lots of updates.

I think there is average reason to be scared for Jim. I think he has a big enough following that it wont hurt fof, but this pro football simulation gives something the fof doesn't, and that's prettier graphics.

Yeah, indeed the 2D play viewer looks slick, but the real value comes in the decision-making features presented to the GM, and that's tough to judge against FOF until you actually play the game.

It's nice to see, but won't hold my breath. Remember EA's Head Coach, anyone?

That had the whole Madden graphic behind it, and TV commercials to promote it. And it sucked balls.

I downloaded the demo and tried it out a little yesterday. I just do not have the time to start a learn a new game right now, and I'm not all that interested in doing it. The only thing that could peak my interest would probably be another sports text sim.
