Playoff Seeding Preference

I get annoyed having to keep track of all of the tie breaker rules for making the playoffs, playoff seeding, and determining the draft order. Even though it is not as fair, I would prefer for the rule to be if 1 or more teams have the same record, for the playoffs, who scored the most points in their last game wins the tiebreaker, and the opposite for the draft tie breaker. If that number is the same, then do a random draw.

I am curious what others think about this.

Azul, thanks for bringing up this issue. I voted “I like it as it is now” only because it mirrors, or did at the time, the NFL at the point in time that changes to FOF were frozen. I don’t think the current tiebreaker procedure is necessarily perfect, but I’m in favor of keeping consistent with r.l. as much as practicable.

I should mention this was not a poll asking if USFL should actually change their rules, I was more just curious about what others though about how the rules are in real life.
