  • Another son on the way

After many years of trying, my wife and I are having another baby. Things are going great and sometime around the end of November, we will have another son! Our other son is 11 and isn't quite sure about having a baby brother, but he is getting more excited as it gets closer. Me? I'm a little nervous about starting over again (I'm 42), but I love being a dad and am ready to see what life brings.

Congrats. On the other bright side of things, I am sure it was fun "trying".

                  Congrats!!!

BTW, my brother is 11 years younger than me - makes for some interesting dynamics between siblings. Although it was difficult to share commons interests in our youth, we ended up being close as adults.

That is great to hear. We worry about our 11 year old....a lot. It's got to be hard going from an only (spoiled!) child to having a baby brother.

I'm the oldest of seven and the youngest was 14 years younger than I. We were close, I even coached his little league team. Congrats!

We're coming up on 25 weeks. 14 to go. Still scared to death. lol. And no name yet. During the indy 500, we jokingly agreed to name him (before we even knew it was a him) after the winner of the race. We still call him Pablo. Wife is starting to worry that if we don't pick a "real" name soon, it will be Pablo!

I'd go with Courtney over Pablo.

If it's a boy call him Wheeler and if it's a girl Courtney. I'm sure your wife will understand.
